Seasonal changes often provides dramatic backdrops to your visit regardless of if you choose the snow capped mountains and frosty mornings of winter or the autumnal glow of the surrounding trees in the autumn.  Wildlife is plentiful and it’s not unusual to routinely see deer, buzzards, eagles, squirrels and barn owls in the immediate area.  There is an abundance of walks to suit the widest range of abilities. Numerous Munros are available to ‘bag’ and Ben Nevis is also achievable to conquer as part of a day trip to Fort William.
